[] I absolutely encourage everyone to go and experience different and/or new things. I have to remind myself of this often because I do like routine and can easily settle into the “same ‘ol, same ‘ol” but, when I do branch out at least a little bit, I always enjoy it. And…while you are experiencing new things do not be afraid to ask questions. Pretend you’re a toddler and just ask whatever comes to mind. What you find out is that most people like to tell you things that they know – it brings them a certain joy and purpose and it broadens your knowledge base. So…as Nike says…just do it…
[] Saw a bald eagle today flying around. I don’t know why but it always affects me in a positive way to see one. I think because it’s such an uncommon thing for me – don’t see them where I live. It was cool.
[] I do see a lot of hawks where I live and these are also impressive birds. A few years ago I was sitting in my backyard and a family of little hawks were flying around and making whatever noise they make. It was pretty cute…at first. After about 15 minutes of listening to them I was like, “Go home – get out of my yard!” I guess kids of all ages can be loud and annoying at times. 🙂
[] So Mike Collins, my congressman here in Georgia, announced that he is running for the senate seat. His announcement on X spelled Georgia wrong. I understand typos – you guys see many right here in this blog – but to put out an official announcement with the state you’re living and running in spelled wrong is just crazy…but it doesn’t surprise me. He’s a ID 10T…
[] There will be a lot of financial news coming out this week. I hope it will be good news across the board. I hope the policies of our administration don’t kill the progress of the last couple of years. I really do…I will be glad to eat crow if I have to but I just don’t think I will have to and that scares me. I am really worried about my family’s healthcare moving forward. I am worried about the higher education structure that my daughters will be entering in a few years. I hope I am worrying for no reason. I really do…
[] I never thought much about the Epstein thing as it refers to Trump. I do now…he convinced me to. I tried not to but the way he and his administration keeps talking about it makes me think…there is a there, there.
