[] I’m weird…yup…I weird because I watched (listened) to a great portion of the Jubilee debate with Mehdi Hasan. If you don’t know what I’m talking about,
GOOD FOR YOU!
Don’t click on this link. It won’t be good for you…
It wasn’t good for me. I’m sure my mouth was dropped…resting on my chest through most of this. It was astonishing to me that folks would actually crave a little bit of fame and exposure even if it was to show the world how big of an ass they were.
And I’m not talking about Mehdi – even though he can be very full of himself a lot of the time.
I have enjoyed viewing and listening to these “Surrounded” debates before. Mayor Pete was on one that highlighted his ability to hold a room and engage in knowledgeable debate. This one spiraled into a carnival with clowns everywhere. And I have to agree with Mehdi on something – you just can’t debate with racists, fascists, etc. There is no point. You cannot find common ground. I would worry about myself if I “understood” where they are coming from. I hope Jubilee stops giving folks like that a platform.
[] Ozzie Osbourne died today. I have to admit I didn’t listen to his music and know very little about him but his reality TV show back in the day was too funny. He will be missed by many. (The celebrity death that hit me the hardest was Prince. Still can’t believe it)
[] I have a driving Pet Peeve – I actually have many but this one comes up just about every morning. As I come out of my neighborhood each morning I have to go across a divided highway. As I sit in the median area waiting to pull into traffic I see cars riding in the left hand lane…when they could easily move into the right hand lane and let everyone who is waiting (ME) pull out and get moving. But NOOOO…they just keep on riding the passing lane. Maybe it’s me but that’s just wrong. Pull over and let others out. I also hate folks who come to almost a complete stop before getting into the turn lane. You can get over and then slow down…really…you can…
[] I would love a member of the press to ask the President during one of the conferences in the Oval, with Rubio sitting there about the “Russian Hoax”. See, Marco was head of the Senate committee that investigated it and found that Russia did work to influence the 2016 election to help Trump. Oh, the squirming…
[] Did you see that our Attorney General was at Alcatraz today? Not the alligator one in Florida but the actual one in San Francisco. It’s an important job she is doing – or at least it should be. This performative crap is just so dang silly. I’ve been to Alcatraz. It was a cool place to visit. I didn’t take a work trip to visit although maybe Kroger should’ve looked at opening a store there. I’m sure the seafood department would be good…and you could put a fuel center out there for all the boats.
[] from Dad Joke twitter…What’s the German word for “bra”? Disselstoppenfloppin
enjoy your night!
