This is a song from the Go Go’s released in 2020. They wrote it during the pandemic and to promote Girl Power. I did not know this. I have been a fan of the Go Go’s since they first hit the pop charts 1981 and thought this was just a song on one of their albums I didn’t have.
I was listening to the Go Go’s station on Amazon music the other day and this song played and I immediately thought…this is perfect for what we are facing….the political environment. It’s time to stand up, “The rules they made are the battle lines. Their grand design is out of time.”
