I saved this quote, statement, passage…but have forgotten the source. Big time apologies! I do absolutely approve of the message…
I am so frustrated with what is going on with the kidnapping by our government. These are not deportations…they are kidnappings. We are snatching people off the street for their ideas, their speech, their writings, their tattoos and locking them up without any due process.
And then we admit we made an error in sending a person to a prison in El Salvador but we wash our hands of him stating “there is nothing we can do to bring him back,” raising a finger to the Supreme Court. And then we further make an absolute mess of this by bringing the president of El Salvador into the Oval Office and let him call this man – the man we admitted to sending to prison by mistake – a terrorist, and we do nothing to correct the record.
Then…then…then…we tell the leader of El Salvador that he needs to build more and bigger prisons because we are going to send “home grown” folks to him.
What the heck!?
Guys…we are headed in a horrible direction. I can’t believe there isn’t so much noise about this. Call, write, email, send a raven to your senator and representative. For everyone who believes in the Constitution. For everyone who believes in the rule of law and due process. For everyone who believes in limited government. For everyone who believes in the 3 equal branches of government, you should be frustrated and furious too.
