I am looking forward to seeing the red moon tonight. I even took a nap. I just went outside (it’s 9:30 pm eastern) and it looks like the sky will be clear enough to see it.

I wonder what folks back in time thought about space happenings like this. It had to freak them out a bit.
Here’s what I pulled from space.com…(I saw a better explanation earlier – talking about the blue waves and red waves but I couldn’t find it so we have this short explanation)
***Update***
I went out at 1:00 am it the eclipse was just starting. Went out at 3:00 and it was practically fully covered. I was a bit underwhelmed. I think it was because the moon was so high in the sky so it was small. I took some pictures with my phone…not so great but my daughter, when I texted it to her said, “that’s cool!”
