I’m sure a lot of us feel this way right now – All Dressed Up with No Place to Go. Well, maybe not “all dressed up” but you know what I mean. However today, I did get “dressed up” at least against the standard I’ve been living for the last two months. I showered, shaved, put on a nice white shirt – even put pants on. I then cleaned up my office area – actually the entire room. See, I had a webinar scheduled. I signed up for it last week and was looking forward to learning some stuff about writing a business plan. I needed to make myself and my room presentable for the camera. I may have even rearranged the books on my shelf (I ALWAYS look at the background of all of these folks during Zoom meetings, or virtual shows or senate hearings!).
But…
No webinar.
At least I don’t think so. I kept waiting for the information to access the webinar. I checked and rechecked the website and my email confirmations. I emailed the person running the thing.
No luck
Well…maybe I’m just a dummy and need to learn more about this online learning stuff but until then I am All Dressed Up with No Place to Go! At least I didn’t put on a tie…
(Guys…if you are running an online meeting please make sure you send out the access info promptly. I have noticed this has been an issue on more than a few instances)
